Tea Lattes
Ingredients:
-
2 Herbal tea bags of your choice, steeped in boiling water
(or your choice of looseleaf- think double strength)
-
Warmed milk (dairy or plant-based, your preference)
Optional Add-ins:
-
Sweeteners: Honey, coconut nectar, or maple syrup
-
A pinch of salt for flavor and beneficial minerals (I recommend Vera or Redmond)
-
Flavor Boosters: Lavender, turmeric (powder or root), or ginger (powder or root)
-
Wellness Boost: Bone broth (see my plain bone broth recipe made specifically for tea bases) or collagen powder for a protein and nutrient infusion
To Make:
-
Steep: Begin by steeping your chosen herbal tea bags in boiling water, allowing the flavors to fully develop.
-
Warm & Froth: Warm your milk in a saucepan or microwave, then combine it with the steeped tea in a mug.
-
Mix: Use a handheld frother or whisk to froth the mixture until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
-
Customize: Stir in any optional add-ins like sweeteners, lavender, turmeric, ginger, bone broth, or collagen powder. Adjust quantities according to taste.
